Ignorance is, how they say, bliss. However, I have to disagree. Perfect happiness and great joy in no way describe what I have to go through regarding ignorance.
Ignorance could be described as a few things, but I’m talking about the kind of ignorance that someone has when they, according to themselves, cannot be wrong or are perfect in every way. I have to go through with this just about every day, and it’s annoying.
Do you know someone who’s ignorant in any way? If you do and they constantly show it, you probably are aware of how annoying it can be. How can you tell them something when they refuse to listen to anyone other than an idea that agrees with them? How can you constantly prove them wrong when they would rather jump off a bridge than consider what you just told them? It makes it so frustrating and sometimes unbearable.
How can someone possibly be so full of themselves that they can’t even consider the possibility that they might be wrong?
ignorance ≠ bliss, this is very true - if you are ignorant, you don't know what bliss is and therefore cannot achieve it
ReplyDeleteBTW, if you are talking about me, I am sorry if it seems that way to you
P.S. This is a statement. This is a question? This is an exclamation! this is a fragment
My above comment is a fragment, not a statement!!!!!
Just in case anyone feels that way, it was about no one in particular, but a recent incident with someone inspired me to write about the topic.
