Hola. (That's hi in Spanish) That's me on the left. As you can tell from the picture, I'm a very skinny person, as well as being a 2-dimensional being. Unless you're from my school, you only know me as words on your computer screen. Remember that the next time you get frustrated with your computer

My Name

My first name, as you could have guessed from the title of my blog, is Jeffrey. It means “Gift of Peace” and is of the English origin. I really like my first name. When you say it, it just slides out of your mouth. It’s a fun name, mostly because it’s not that popular. The only person that I know of that I share my name with is a teacher in my school. I like it even more when it’s shortened to Jeff and I like how it sounds with my last name.

My middle name, also a first name, is of the Celtic/Gaelic origin and means “Small Cove.” While, I’m not really happy with the meaning, it doesn’t really bother me. When you say Logan, it feels like a bumpy hill. It just rides out of your mouth.

My last name is of the German origin and it’s “a large measure of land” and when you take out the last letter it is “30-60 acres of land.” It has a long “u,” but people constantly mispronounce it. They pronounce it as if it were spelled with a short “u.” Also, it sounds like a fat person name because it has a sort of roundness to it. However, it’s not much of a big deal to me. I also found it interesting that a Polish engineer with the same last name as me who created an equation that applies to elastic material tension calculations. This equation is: (Sorry, it didn't show before)

People call me J(Insert first 3 letters of last name). You can probably see how they came up with it. I like this name.; I like how it sounds. Also, it’s nice and short.

Although I have some problems with my name, I wouldn’t change it. It’s how I’ve known myself for my whole life.

  1. Well, fully translated, my name means "wealthy island knight" or "gift island knight." I think it's pretty cool.
By the way, I cannot see the equation. It's just a white box with a question mark in it.
Also, since your nickname is JHub with a short u, then people may mispronounce your name as "Hub-ber" instead of "Hyoo-ber." I'm just saying that that could lead to some confusion.
