Hola. (That's hi in Spanish) That's me on the left. As you can tell from the picture, I'm a very skinny person, as well as being a 2-dimensional being. Unless you're from my school, you only know me as words on your computer screen. Remember that the next time you get frustrated with your computer

What just happened?

Woah, didn’t I already type a post about this already? I have no clue. Déjà vu strikes again.

Did you ever have one of those moments where you thought you had one of those moments already? Working on something in class, and someone walks in. “Woah, didn’t this already happen? I bet I can predict what happens next. Oh, wait, no I can’t. I know this same exact thing happened a month ago, but I don’t remember what happens next.” It’s a weird thing, déjà vu. It seems to happen often as well.

So is it good or bad? I’m not sure, but I think it’s a cool experience. I also like the theories trying to explain it. One explanation states that it happens when the event is stored in the memory before the conscious mind receives the information. In other words, you remember it before you know it even happened. Another one says that the mistiming of a neuronal firing causes it. This mistiming leads the brain to believe that it’s experiencing something a second time, when in reality it’s just receiving the information a little later than when it happened. It’s pretty neat stuff.
