About Me

Hola. (That's hi in Spanish) That's me on the left. As you can tell from the picture, I'm a very skinny person, as well as being a 2-dimensional being. Unless you're from my school, you only know me as words on your computer screen. Remember that the next time you get frustrated with your computer

Ahh, the holidays

Forgive me. This was supposed to be up by Christmas Eve. I guess I have misplaced my priorities. I'm not good with priority, which I'll talk about later. If you made it this far, thank you for doing so. Everything beyond the colon at the end of this sentence is what was supposed to be up here before Christmas:

It’s that time of year again. It’s the time where people go out and buy presents for everyone they know for the holidays. It also snows, which is my favorite part of it being winter. It is notable that this year was the first time I have ever made a snowball or a snowman. He was cut in half, though, which sucks.

It’s my favorite time of the year, and it all starts with Thanksgiving. Great food, meet with my family, it’s a lot of fun.

Then approximately 1 week later marks my birthday. I ask for stuff and I can get them without paying. The cake is just the icing on the cake.

Then I get exactly 3 weeks to get excited and whatnot.

Then on the 21st is my Dad’s birthday. While this doesn’t exactly affect me much, it’s within my favorite 4 1/2 weeks, so I’ll include it here.

On the last day of school until break (The 23rd, I think), my friend hosts a Christmas party. We hang out with all of our friends. It’s fun.

2 days away from that is Christmas Eve. I see my whole family on my Dad’s side of the family. I hang out with my cousins.

The next morning I wake up, we have breakfast, and we have Christmas at our Dad’s house.

About an hour or so after that, he drives us back to my Mom’s house, where have Christmas there too.

The next day is probably the second largest shopping day of the year; people buy whatever they didn’t get for the holidays.

This year, I’m going up to my Grandparent’s house where, for the first time in my lifetime, everyone will be there.  I think around 15 of us.

Then comes New Years’ Eve. I stay up for a whole year and watch 2008 become 2009.

New Years’ Day marks the end of my favorite 4 ½ weeks of the year.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading it all without falling asleep. Have a Happy Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa!
